Pirirakau Hauora – Rongoa Maori Planting Project
Revisit or come along and assess how last year’s Sustainable Backyards’ native rongoa plantings have progressed.
This is a fantastic community project and a great opportunity to practice native plant identification. We will look at some practical traditional uses and medicinal qualities that some of the plantings have. Learn some of the basic principals that will be covered involved with the practice of Rongoa Maori traditional healing.
