SUMMARY:Samba Drumming Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Get your rhythm on!\nMusical Director. Darius Chapman\, along with the whole band\, invites beginners to come along and experience the joy of samba drumming. For four consecutive weeks\, starting April 12th\, you can join the band and we will focus on giving you a welcoming\, supportive experience and a chance to try out the instrument of your choice.\nWe’d be thrilled to have new people join the club and grow the band. This introduction needs no more commitment than the course itself\, and if you find that samba is the thing for you\, you can carry on and join properly after that. \nWhen: 4 weeks\, starting April 12th\, from 7pm – 9.15pm\nWhere: Mount Maunganui Sports Centre\, Cnr Maunganui and Hull Rd. (at our normal practice venue)\nCost: $40 for the whole course – this will be refunded if you join the band.\nBring: Cash and water and earplugs if you have them\, but if not these will be provided. \nFor all the details and to sign up\, visit www.taurangasamba.org/workshop \nPrepare to enjoy it immensely.
