DESCRIPTION:Time to gather again for more robust death dialogues.  Talking about death and dying does not make it happen sooner\, it makes it happen better! \nEveryone is welcome to this open\, relaxed and spontaneous conversation on dying and death. This is a friendly space where you can share stories\, question reality and hear new voices\, as we ponder the mystery of dying and death. \nDeath Café’s are not grief or bereavement support groups\, but rather interesting and inviting gatherings held all over the world to increase our awareness of life as we ponder what we know of death. There is no agenda\, objectives or themes\, it is a simple open conversation\, which is gently facilitated and group lead. To date we have had many moving and lively discussions. DESCRIPTION:We are a group of hobby woodworkers – men and women – keen to share our love of wood and skills with anyone keen to join us. We live in a land with beautiful timbers and with a long tradition of do-it-yourself creativity. \nWe have been active since 1987 and in any given year we have 80 – 100 members of all ages and skill levels. \nWe have a purpose-built Workshop located at 3 – Cherokee Place – Mount Maunganui in Tauranga which is well-equipped with lathes\, bandsaws\, bench saw\, mitre cut-off saw\, buzzer\, drill press\, scroll saws and all the associated hand tools. \nOur Carving\, Turning\, Scrollsaw\, Toy Making & Open Workshop Groups all meet each month. \nOn the 3rd Saturday of every month at 1.30pm we have a general meeting plus demonstration & refreshments.
