DESCRIPTION:A new opportunity to try life drawing in a visually exciting workshop with experienced life drawing tutor Carol Bisset. Carol has been teaching life drawing for 20+yrs. This three hour workshop will guide you through a series of life studies with an experienced model and a range of exciting backdrops and props. \nThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a life model in a tutored workshop. Be guided through some of the essential principals of life study in a visually stimulating environment. \nTutor: Carol Bisset\nDate: 11th October\nTime: 9.30am – 12.30pm\nCost: $60 \nEasels and boards supplied. Bring your own paper and a range of drawing materials. SUMMARY:Alcohol Ink – Clock\, Candle and Pot Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This full day course will teach you the basics of alcohol ink. Here is a fun class where you will make a clock face\, and then put the clock together\, along with painting a candle and a black pot with white and gold accents. Alcohol ink has a mind of its own but is a fun medium to use and the students take home their finished artwork after each session. This class is designed particularly for beginners who have never used alcohol inks before. \nMarion is an artist who loves to use alcohol inks for various ways of producing amazing artwork. Together with gold accents\, you will be painting pots and candles as well as looking at a myriad of other uses. The inks have a versatility and vibrancy that when blended with pure isopropyl alcohol\, create movement and beautiful abstract designs. With the addition of gold enhancements these make visually attractive pieces of art even for beginners. \nTutor: Marion Aitken\nDate: Sunday 18th October\nTime: 9.30am-3.30pm\nCost: $140.00\nAll Materials Supplied\nPlease bring an apron and wear old clothes \nMorning tea will be provided.
