DESCRIPTION:A group of like minded printmaking enthusiasts who get together on the first Friday of every month. \nWe meet in the Artery Art Learning Space which is part of the Incubator Creative Hub in Tauranga’s Historic Village. \nThere is plenty of space for many to work collectively with great company\, motivating and inspiring each other while teaching each other new tricks. We have a great press. We invite skilled portrait artist Lindsey Horne to share her admiration for Rita Angus and share her knowledge and skills in the art of portrait painting. \nCome along to the next Creative Sunday Workshop at Tauranga art gallery and learn some tips and tricks to creating your own painted portrait. \nLindsey Horne is an artist and curator based in Tauranga\, most recently she has curated and exhibited in ‘Artists on Artists’ – a group portrait exhibition where each artist is the subject of another artist’s work\, like links in a chain. She has a background in both fine art and neuroscience and practices her art alongside her role as a behavioural researcher.
