DESCRIPTION:If you are a complete new beginner\, or a seasoned scrapbooker wanting to get back into it\, we have a wonderful group of ladies already who are just itching to make some new friends. \nAlbums to fit all the special moments and places in your life ! \nPaula is the teacher at the shop on Wednesday 10am to 12 noon – and spaces are available. \nThe classes are usual 1.5 to 2 hours\, and we welcome all experience levels. \nIf you have a standard scrapbooking kit (trimmer\, scissors\, double-sided tape\, glue)\, please bring it along; if not\, please don’t worry; we can lend you gear on the day. \nThe cost is $18 (this includes the product and instructions to make the layout). \nIf you’re interested in booking into this class\, flick me an email at: cayla@craftables.co.nz. DESCRIPTION:Presented by: The Incubator Creative Hub and Sew Love\nNew year resolutions are out — bingo boards are in! \nJoin an evening of gel pens\, watercolour pencils\, collage snips and fresh-start energy as we dream and design an epic year ahead. You’ll fill your bingo board with a mix of small joys and big aspirations\, in doodles\, pictures or words. Think of it as a playful\, personal roadmap that celebrates our progress every step of the way. \nSarah will guide you with prompts and inspiration to help you reflect on what matters most\, but the creative expression is all yours. This isn’t a drawing class\, it’s your permission slip to explore\, imagine\, and set intentions your own way. \nAll materials provided: A4 art paper\, pens\, pencils\, watercolours\, collage papers\, tools. \nThis is a supportive group workshop. You decide what to keep private\, what to share\, and which squares can stay blank until you’re ready. Vulnerability is welcome\, pressure is not. Let’s create a year worth cheering for\, one bingo row at a time! \nSarah Sew Love is a self proclaimed “hype girl for YOUR sustainable sewing journey”! She’s been sewing\, blogging\, gramming and teaching sewing for over 10 years through her sewcial enterprise Sew Love and she’s now calling Tauranga home. Sarah’s known for popping up workshops all over NZ; alongside markets\, conferences\, schools\, community houses & recycle centres to share her passion for sewing skills and sustainable living. “DIYing the reusables we need\, repairing the things we love\, embracing sewing slow and sewing together with others – it all makes our lives more special!” In recent years she’s mostly known for her sellout upcycled scrap bum bags and dancing around on instagram but hosting workshops is her homebase of happiness. Rest assured the energy is just the same in real life so come join one of her workshops this winter in our Social Fabric room. DESCRIPTION:Miniature Meadows & More\nOn this workshop  you will learn all the basics of glass fusing I will also for the first time be showing you how to make one of my miniature meadow designs. These can be left as pictures\, made into  a platter. These art pieces will involve learning some new techniques such as  using glass line paints\, working with frits and bending stringers to produce a lovely one off piece.
