Bone Carving has changed the way I see the world\, it has influenced how I raised my 3 children\, and engaged with at risk youth and whanau in the Tauranga Moana as a social worker. I believe that whakairo is about story\, the role of the bone carver is to create a snapshot in time. This course is an interpretation of the value I place on the story within the carving of bone.
