SUMMARY:Movement Connections Workshop
DESCRIPTION:A wholesome way of training \nThis is a workshop that is designed to help us understand how to move efficiently\, easily and expressively. \nExercises are nourishing to the system and stimulate new neural pathways in the brain. \nWe are all far less compartmentalised that we are lead to believe.  The workshop series of Movement Connections is where participants have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the fabric that binds all aprts that make up the body.  Training won’t be focusing on isolated muscle groups so much as the communication lines between them\, allowing strength and elasticity to create supported movement. \nEverybody welcome. \nWhen: Sunday 18th September 2022  10am – 12 noon\nWhere: Ohauiti  Hall\, 459 Upper Ohauiti Rd\, Tauranga\nCost: Suggested Koha $15-$30 \nTutor: Margaret Dewes\nContact: m.dewes@hotmail.com

SUMMARY:Tai Chi Internal Arts - Te Puke
DESCRIPTION:Tai Chi Internal Arts has been operating for two years at Te Puke and Tauranga with Beginner and Regular classes. Post Covid19 we are restarting with an emphasis on looking after ourselves. What this means is as well as the Tai Chi training\, we will encourage the students to apply the principles of Tai Chi to everyday life and incorporate mindfulness\, balance and the ability to deal with change. We seem to be in a time of rapid change which can create enormous personal stress. \nTai Chi Internal Arts is affiliated to Sport BOP so we offer training to all comers and in particular the Keep on your Feet Program which encourages the senior students to stay active. Tai Chi is valuable because as well as keeping the body fit\, it also requires a fair bit of mental activity all the while staying very low impact. \nTe Puke Classes: Te Puke Memorial Hall Cost $5\nMondays 5.30pm – 7.00pm\nTuesdays 9.30 am – 11.30am\nThursdays  9.30 am – 11.30am \nThere are also classes in Tauranga & Te Puna \nGreerton Community Hall\,  Cost $5\nWednesdays  9.30 am – 11.30am\nTe Puna Hall\, Cost $5\nThursdays  9.30 am – 11.30am \nFor more information contact David\nPhone:     5524425\nMobile:    027 222 2824
