DESCRIPTION:A full day class focusing on meat and fish and promoting cooking from scratch\, eating seasonally and looking at the paddock to plate ethos. \nBRINING\, CURING & SMOKING \nHere at The Falls Retreat\, we operate a nose to tail ethos where we try to utilise lesser known cuts of meat and incorporate different techniques into our menu. We also often cure and smoke fish in order to ensure we don’t compromise on quality and flavour and you too can learn how with a few simple tips and tricks. We will cover the basics of brining\, curing and smoking\, explain the equipment required and share our recipes for you to recreate at home \nDate: Sunday 11th June 2023 \nTime: 10am – 3pm \nWhat to bring: Just yourselves and some enthusiasm! \nCost: $200 per person \nWhat’s included: \nMorning tea on arrival – a welcome drink and a tasty bite from the kitchen team \nInteractive cooking demonstration with Brad King \nTake home recipe and instruction booklet \nDelicious lunch served at our banqueting table.
