DESCRIPTION:Join us for an honest conversation about death at the library’s Death Cafe with Gaylene Delaney \n\n\n\n\n\n\nA ‘Death Cafe’ is a friendly and welcoming gathering where people come together to talk about death\, dying and end-of-life experiences. It is a safe and non-judgemental space where you can share your thoughts\, feelings and questions about death. \nThe aim of a ‘Death Cafe’ is to create open and honest conversations about something that can be a taboo topic in society. By exploring death in a supportive and comfortable environment\, we can deepen our appreciation for life and consequently make the most of what time we have left. \nGaylene Delaney is an end-of-life doula and registered nurse with a passion for caring for and supporting others through some of life’s most difficult transitions.
