We live in a land with beautiful timbers and with a long tradition of do-it-yourself creativity. \nWe have been active since 1987 and in any given year we have 80 – 100 members of all ages and skill levels. \nWe have a purpose-built Workshop located at 3 – Cherokee Place – Mount Maunganui in Tauranga which is well-equipped with lathes\, bandsaws\, bench saw\, mitre cut-off saw\, buzzer\, drill press\, scroll saws and all the associated hand tools. \nOur Carving\, Turning\, Scrollsaw\, Toy Making & Open Workshop Groups all meet each month. \nOn the 3rd Saturday of every month at 1.30pm we have a general meeting plus demonstration & refreshments.
