It’s a very practical skill to have and very sociable\, as I learned at a local marae in Hokianga in Whirinaki. Hone helped me lots to prepare my harakeke so I could do some creations once the tamariki were in bed. \nIn this small wananga we will make a kete for your vegetable ( onions\, potatoes..). If you want to make them huge afterwards\, you could make them into washing baskets\, or toy baskets for your children.\nWe will work in our garden under a great big tree. We will have some family members helping out this time. \nCome with an open mind and a big smile. The only tools you’ll need are your hands and kind thoughts about yourself.
