Beginner Social Dance
/in Dance /by Shelley DeanFrom social dancing to competition dancing, there are lots of opportunities for everyone to enjoy dancing.
Beginner dance classes commence four or five times a year for an initial 6 week course at our Tauranga Dance School. These are then continued in blocks of 6 weeks to enable greater proficiency and a wider range of dances to be learnt.
Learn the different styles of dance from the beginners through to competition level. Hugh and Sonia are specialists in the field of Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue and Rock & Roll dancing.

Macramé Jars Workshop
/in Christmas, Crafts /by Shelley DeanOne Day Workshop
This class is aimed at those who have some experience in macrame knotting and now want to practice their skills by making some beautiful macrame covers for jars of various sizes. You need to be familiar with the Square Knot and Double Half Hitch knot as they will be used in all the suggested designs.
Make your Christmas presents early this year.
You can use these beautiful jars as vases or lanterns with candles or fairy lights. You will go home with 1-3 beautifully covered jars which make wonderful presents for family and friends.
Material is additional to the course fee and depends on which jar(s) you choose to make. It ranges from $10 to $20 per jar.

Social Beginner Dance Classes – Ballroom, Latin American, Rock & Roll
/in Dance /by Shelley DeanFrom social dancing to competition dancing, there are lots of opportunities for everyone to enjoy dancing.
Beginner dance classes commence four or five times a year for an initial 6 week course at our Tauranga Dance School. These are then continued in blocks of 6 weeks to enable greater proficiency and a wider range of dances to be learnt. $80 for the 6 weeks.
Learn the different styles of dance from the beginners through to competition level. Hugh and Sonia are specialists in the field of Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue and Rock & Roll dancing.

Andrea’s Backyard Apple Cider Vinegar Making Workshop

You will select your own organic apples and we will prepare our vinegar under the trees out in Nature. I am running several workshops from our backyard in Welcome Bay during this month.
Your course registration of $75 pays for your complete brewing equipment to take home with you and ingredients needed to make 10 litres of apple vinegar. You will gain the skill and confidence to brew on your own afterwards.
Learning together with others is a fun way and it connects us all.

Spice up your life with the science of Kombucha and it’s many uses.
Learn how to utilise seasonal fruit and add them to your second fermentation, creating an additional twist, using Rongoa Maori and herbs from your garden.
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn how to make kombucha step by step, in a practical non rushed manner.
A great way to connect with like minded people and it’s fun to attend with a friend to share the journey.
If you are a group op people wanting me to hold a workshop at your place, let me know. I am flexible and able to travel ( minimum of 6 people, host will attend free of charge)
PS: We will have frozen plums, brewed Kombucha and crafts to buy in my mobile shop on the day of the event. You are able to pay for these with cash or online payments accepted.

Sustainable Backyards: Rongoa Maori – Basic Plant Identification Traditional Maori Medicine
