Ko Tātāhoata me Te Umuroa ki Ruatāhuna me Te Rereatukāhia me Te Rangihouhiri ngā Marae.\nTēnei te tuku i ngā kupu whakamiha kia tātau katoa i runga i ngā manaakitanga o te wā.\nTāne Cook is the Kaiwhakahāere – Cultural Leader at Te Taiope Huringanui – Turning Point Trust. Tāne is a native speaker of Te Reo Māori and strong advocate for the revitalisation of Te Reo me ōna Tikanga. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the Primary\, Secondary and Tertiary Education sector including the Primary Industry and Māori Health service. His professional aim is to raise capability and capacity improving outcomes for Māori\, whānau\, whai ora and communities by providing services that enable people to engage and develop pathways to growth and success.\nTāne is a champion for transformational thinking and change. He has strong established relationships with Iwi\, whānau\, hapū\, Marae and communities including Industry and Government sectors. He is an elected Executive Member of the New Zealand Māori Council and is the Chairperson of the Mataatua District Māori Council and Tātāhoata Māori Committee.
