Two days. Saturday 30th November plus Sunday 1st December 2024 8.30am – 3.30pm in the Whakamaramara area.
Learn or refresh valuable skills for enjoyable and safe tramping and meet women with similar interests!
The aim is to give women the confidence to tramp and navigate the bush.
Topics include:
- trip planning
- equipment
- risk management
- map reading
- dealing with river crossings
- basic navigation
- basic first aid
- survival
- and more….
On the second day, the groups puts the theory into practice with a bush walk.
