A Whimsical Workshop
Make your own doll out of Polymer sculpy clay.
Participants will learn the step-by-step techniques of how to model with sculpy clay, wire, and mixed media to create an awe-inspiring art doll. This is Claire’s most popular workshop and people will not need any previous experience to achieve amazing results.
Students will be guided on how to do detailed face and hand painting plus making clothes and hair. All materials are supplied but bringing fabrics and accessories is encouraged too. Participants will be astounded with what they can produce in such a short time. All the dolls are so unique, arty, and quirky.
Suitable for 13yrs and over. Come and join in with other unorthodox and innovative people to explore the world of art doll making.

Claire Delaney is a visual storyteller. Originally from the UK she got a BA hon in Textiles and fashion attributing this to why her characters are always so uniquely dressed. Claire’s style is described as whimsical and playful. She has written and illustrated several of her own books and illustrates constantly for commission work. With a passion for the creative process, she has taught art in the community for thirty years.
