Local zero waste fashion designer Emma La Rocca will teach you how to cut and sew a zero waste summer dress. This is a simple, multi sized garment which you can enjoy wearing this summer.
For your dress material, choose a sheet from your local opshop that has no stains or holes with a print or color you enjoy. It can be any size from a single to a king.
Can’t find a sheet? You can use an old duvet, a large old piece of fabric, or even a curtain as long as it’s not too thick. Bring matching thread if you have it, otherwise we have some available to use.
Basic experience using a sewing machine is required and we encourage you to bring your own if you have one!
When: Wednesday 10th March 4.00pm – 6pm
Where: ReMaker Space, 91 Willow Street, Tauranga
