Urban Sketchers see the world one drawing at a time. Join us as we let our drawings tell a story of our surroundings, the places we live and the places we travel.
The essence of Urban Sketching is to draw on location, indoors or out, and capture what we see from direct observation.
All levels of sketchers are encouraged, from beginner to advanced, using whatever medium you prefer.
Sharing ideas and enjoying our drawing in a social, relaxed community of sketchers is what we are all about.
Please bring your own sketching materials and other items like sunscreen, hat, a seat, water, etc., as required for outdoor sketching. We will meet at a particular location at a specified time and then the choice of what subject to draw is yours. We will usually get together again after about 2 hours to share our work and socialise.
We love to share our work while observing the guidelines outlined in our manifesto.
