The Holi Colour Splash event on 23 April near Memorial Park invites people from all communities to experience and learn more about the rich Indian culture and the famous Festival of Colours. This event is about celebrating cultural diversity in our Tauranga region, sharing in a fun and safe-for-all-ages experience, and teaching one another about forgiveness and community. Attendees can expect three hours of Eastern and South Asian-fusion music, live Bharatanatyam, Punjabi, Bollywood and other Indian dances, informative and intriguing snippets about the import of Holi, delicious vegetarian East-meets-West food, henna body art, and plenty of colour packages for sale.
