This Sunday: Jacqui Greaves : Unusual Writing Structures
The traditional story structure of a beginning, middle and end is not the only way to write a story. Author Jacqui Greaves ha been researching, and experimenting with, the different forms a story can take, in the process of writing her novel-in-flash, Outer Death. In this workshop, Jacqui will guide us through an exploration of some lesser known and a few downright bizarre ways to construct a story.
Bring pen and paper, and join us for an entertaining workshop to try out some different writing techniques.
Jacqui Greaves, a former marine biologist, has published a novella, a collection of short stories, and had over 20 short stories and poems published in various anthologies, websites and e-pubs. Jacqui writes speculative fiction, is a three-time finalist in Aotearoa New Zealand’s Sir Julius Vogel Awards and a judge for the British Fantasy Awards.
