Baywide Community Law can provide free legal information to all – and for those who meet our financial criteria, we offer free legal advice.  We can also offer education sessions on various topics to assist the community.

Baywide Community Law provides free legal advice to people on low incomes, with disabilities or other disadvantages, and free legal information to everyone in our Bay of Plenty community. Our aim is to ensure access to justice for people with unmet legal needs. We can help you with your legal problems including family, employment, tenancy issues, financial disputes, criminal matters and Māori land. We can provide legal advice by telephone call, online via Zoom, or in-person at our offices in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We also have regular community clinics throughout the Bay of Plenty
