Whimsical Workshops

Claire produces illustrations with pen and ink, and watercolour, and create narrative-rich oil paintings. Her art is often described as whimsical and wistful, mischievous, magical, emotive and personal.

Claire Delaney is a visual storyteller. Originally from the UK she got a BA hon in Textiles and fashion attributing this to why her characters are always so uniquely dressed. Claire’s style is described as whimsical and playful. She has written and illustrated several of her own books and illustrates constantly for commission work. With a passion for the creative process, she has taught art in the community for thirty years.
