French with Shelley – Beginners
Term 1 Classes start from 3rd February 2025
Course Description: This class will arm you with the basics for surviving in a French speaking country – greetings, shopping, eating out, meeting people etc. – in a fun, friendly interactive way.
Speaking even a modest amount of French will have a tremendous pay-off in terms of enjoyment and interaction with the locals.
Classes are held in :
Tauranga at the Wesley Church, 13th Avenue.
Mount Maunganui at the Arataki Community Centre.
Katikati at the Katikati Community Centre.
Depending on demand, classes are held in Te Puna at the school and in Ohauiti. Contact Shelley re this.

Confidence Builder
Course outline: Class for those who have completed the 10 week beginner course and wish to build up confidence and extend their skills. This is also a good class for those who have done some French but a while ago and want to get back into the swing of things again. Emphasis on communication skills.
This level merges into Intermediate Conversation. The exact class level depends on the prior knowledge of students attending.
