Pāpāmoa Library
Wednesday, 16 September from 5-6pm
Workshops will cover the pronunciation of the Māori alphabet, local place names, greetings and basic sentence structures.
Light beverages will also be provided.
Let’s make te reo māori welcome in our homes, workplace and community.
New Zealand is revitalising the Māori language, so let’s do our part by taking part in this nationwide event. Mahuru Māori encourages everyone to give it a go, no matter your current level and ability of speaking the Māori language. The idea is that we consciously speak more every day during the month of September – even just a ‘Kia ora!’ contributes to the revitalisation.
This invite is open to colleague, friends and whānau so feel free to share this invite with others who may be interested – Lets get the word out.
