Katikati Herb Society

Coriander, red clover, chamomile and puha – you’ve probably already heard of them before.

But do you know the unique medicinal or cosmetic talents they hold?  March 6-12 was Herb Awareness Week – offering people the opportunity to learn more about these four chosen herbs for 2017 but the opportunity is there all year round with the Katikati Herb Society.

The Katikati Herb Society meet the second Wednesday of the month at 7.00 pm in the St Paul’s Presbyterian Church Lounge, corner SH2 & Mulgan Street, Katikati.

Why not come along and learn about the identification, cultivation, and use of herbs including; culinary, nutritional, health, first aid, home remedies and crafts.

The programme includes; guest speakers, garden trips, craft displays, demonstrations, hands on workshops, information sharing.

Everyone is welcome.

Cost: $4 casual visitor fee.
$20 for a year’s membership
