Sacred Rose Women Circle

Navigating Transitions – The Space In Between

In this circle we will create space to acknowledge our pain, honour our lessons learnt, hold space for our wounds, and celebrate the unfolding wisdom that is the reward of this process as we navigate transitions. We will delve into ancient feminine practices to support this connection including meditation/inner journeying, visualisation, feminine ritual, dance/ mindful movement, and song.

Please feel warmly welcomed to the next SACRED ROSE WOMEN’S CIRCLE on Sunday, 26th of June, 6pm-8pm. This upcoming Women’s Circle will be dedicated to delving deeper into the energy of Autumn NAVIGATING TRANSITIONS – THE SPACE IN BETWEEN.

All of nature cycles through seasons of change and transformation, effortlessly and naturally — just like we transition through psychological and physical states of transformation throughout our lives. We transfer into and out of different roles, keeping some, leaving others behind, and beginning new roles. These role transitions accompany transitions through life stages and can be easy or difficult, depending on the timing and the the resources available to us.

In this circle we will create space to acknowledge our pain, honour our lessons learnt, hold space for our wounds, and celebrate the unfolding wisdom that is the reward of this process as we transition through the psychological and physical states of transformation throughout our lives. We will delve into ancient feminine practices to support this connection such as meditation/inner journeying, visualisation, feminine ritual, dance/ mindful movement, and song.

The space is limited to a small, intimate group of women.
Cost: $35.95

About Sacred Rose Women Circles:

A women’s circle is a sacred space dedicated to the growth of feminine wisdom and personal feminine mystical experience, which we explore, remember and reclaim within sacred women’s circles called: “Sacred Rose Circles” (more information about Yolande Alice Jaguar Carrell and The Women School here: http://www.womenschool.org/sacred-rose-circle-initiation/)

We are a growing group of women working together to bring ancient women’s knowledge and mystical female pathways back to our modern world, empowering each woman’s voice. Come and explore yourself and your unique feminine wisdom in your body, your life and your heart – I’d love to meet you in circle!

Woodcrafters: Wood Turning Group

Our Turners Group meets each month on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 9:30am & 1:30pm and the 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:30am at the Guild’s Workshop. Our Turning Group meetings combine hands-on learning sessions with one on one instruction in the mornings followed by a group project and critique in the afternoons.

Experienced members work with new turners to develop skills and to build people’s confidence in using the equipment correctly.

Our workshop is well equipped with lathes. New members can use a good selection of turning chisels and scrapers which are owned by the club until they build their skills and begin to buy their own equipment.

The Turning Group build members skills by setting a monthly project and then having an experienced turner critique each members contribution at the following meeting. Their objective is to explore new ideas and to improve.

Websitehttp://taurangawoodcrafters.org/turners/

Woodcrafters

About Us: We are a group of hobby woodworkers keen to share our love of wood and our skills with one another and with anyone who would like to join our community.
We live in a country with beautiful timbers and with a long tradition of do-it-yourself creativity.

Our Club has been active since 1987, and we have some 70 members, of all ages and skills levels.
We have built up a well equipped workshop of good woodworking machinery and hand tools.

The major event of our year is our Annual Show, when we put our finished work on display for the public to enjoy and perhaps to purchase; along with live displays of some of our crafts in action.

We have special interest groups which each meet monthly covering the skills of
Carving,
Cabinet-Making,
Intarsia,
Marquetry,
Scroll sawing,
Woodturning.

The full Club also meets once a month for activities and demonstrations across the varied disciplines, and for wider fellowship among members.
Visitors are very welcome at this meeting and for those thinking of joining the club it is an excellent venue to meet other Guild members and perhaps complete the membership paperwork.
